Solomon, a ninety-year old Jewish furniture dealer
finds himself in the middle of an uneasy reunion between two estranged
brothers in this deeply moving comedy by one of America’s
greatest playwrights. The wise old gentleman has come to give them
a price for their furniture, but stays to teach them a lesson in
reconciliation and the “price” we all pay for the choices
in our lives.

A gentle romantic comedy with a tasty Jewish flavor. A single
young Jewish woman who works in an upscale Manhattan bookstore
longs to be part of the intellectual literary scene, but her roots
are on the Lower East Side, where her old-fashioned grandmother
(her “Bubbie”) and a matchmaker are trying to fix her
up with Sam, a quiet young man who runs a pickle store in the neighborhood.
