Visiting Mr.
Green

|
This is a play that will touch you, make you laugh and make
you glad you went to the theater. Jeff Baron's Visiting
Mr. Green deals with human relationships.
It tells the story of young corporate executive Ross Gardner, who
nearly runs over octogenarian Mr. Green. The judge's sentence requires
Ross to visit the retired dry cleaner once a week for six months.
What starts out as a humorous battle between cantankerousness and
impatience grows into a moving story about friendship, honesty and
caring.
"A cannily-crafted comedy-drama — A feelgood winner"
--N.Y. Newsday
"As Mr. Green might have said, What's not to like?"

Dec 4-Dec 28
We hope you enjoyed our Winter performance of "The Chosen"!

This award winning play by Aaron Posner
and Chaim Potok is an adaptation of Potok's award winning novel.
It is the story of two boys, two fathers and two very different
Jewish communities in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in the 1940's. Set
against the background of WWII, the revelation of the Holocaust,
and the desperate struggle of Zionism, The Chosen remains
not essentially political or religious, but deeply human.
"Aaron Posner brings theatricality to the story without
losing its intellectual content or sacrificing Potok's stuning
language."
