Kindertransport
A drama about conflict, loyalty, and love within families and the painful choices imposed by hatred and war. The kindertransport (children's transport) was a movement through which Jewish, Quaker, and other British charities rescued 10,000 unaccompanied children between the ages of five and 17 from Nazi controlled countries in 1938 and 1939 and found British families to care for them until the war was over. Kindertransport has been performed around the world--including England, where it won the Verity Bargate Award, Japan, Germany, South Africa, and the United States.
